The whole AION site can be rebuilt from scratch, so it never stays down for long

We plan to make sure the complete site, with every entry, list, map and tool, can be rebuilt from scratch by following written steps, without depending on any one machine.

For you this means that a lost server or a broken update does not leave the site offline or missing data for long, and that the version you see is one we can always reproduce.

We will test it by rebuilding a fresh copy and comparing an entry page, a filtered list, a map point and a tool against the live version to confirm they match.
